The idea
Two and two-thirds acres of Malibu hillside with the Pacific below. The plans set a house of about 3,500 square feet and a guest house of 900 square feet on it.

The intervention
The presentation of 20 July 2023 set out the site's constraints, then two options: one with the guest house to the north, one with it to the west. Each was drawn in plan and rendered on the hillside, from the air, the carport, the pool and the rooms.
